Since its opening in 2019, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been named as such, with no inclusion of a brand in its title as part of a sponsorship deal.
In this season's Premier League, eight of the 20 clubs have a ground that currently has a sponsorship name. These include Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, and Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
When Tottenham's ground first opened in the closing months of the 2018-19 season, it was widely believed that shortly after it would be renamed once a sponsorship deal had been agreed.
But after more than seven years of calling the north London ground their home, and operating one of the country's biggest arenas in which to host concerts and NFL matches, the original brand-free name has remained.
No significant progress has been made on a stadium sponsor at present, but the club remain open to acquiring one for their long-term future.
A Tottenham club spokesperson told BBC Sport: "Increasing our revenues through commercial partnerships is crucial for us to be able to remain competitive while staying in the boundaries of financial rules."
The club say that gaining a sponsor is a "key part of the wider suite of opportunities available to potential partners" and that the stadium having the rights to host up to 30 major non-football events per year "increases the value of a naming rights partnership".
"However, we are in a highly competitive industry alongside a number of clubs with similar ambitions, and we will only look to partner with the most-respected, renowned brands that align to our club values and can bring something to our fan experience," they added.
"In addition, we have launched 'The Collective' - a new sponsorship programme designed to deliver bespoke activations to every stand at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - with Sports Illustrated becoming the first of those partners. ''
